How to use this tool
Enter your full session duration. Reserve time for your introduction, conclusion and questions. Add as many main sections as needed, give each a title and relative weight, and review the calculated allocation. Download the CSV to edit the plan offline.
How timing is calculated
Main-section time equals total session minus the opening, closing and Q&A. Each main section receives the remaining time multiplied by its weight divided by the total of all section weights. For example, a 20-minute talk with 2 minutes opening, 2 minutes closing and 4 minutes Q&A leaves 12 minutes. Two sections weighted 1 and 2 receive 4 and 8 minutes.
The displayed duration rounds to one decimal; the CSV retains two decimals. Actual delivery must be checked in rehearsal.
